The National Day Boat

Celebrate Sweden’s National Day at Gustafsberg!

You can take a free boat all day from Uddevalla to Gustafsberg.

Boats depart between 9:30 AM and 3:30 PM from Södra Hamnen 2 in Uddevalla. Three boats operate a shuttle service. All passengers must disembark at each stop.

The last boat to Gustafsberg departs at 3:30 PM from Uddevalla
The last boat back from Gustafsberg departs at 5:00 PM.

Buses depart for Bodele at 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 14:00, and 15:00 from the turning loop at Södra Hamnen. A smaller shuttle bus will meet passengers at Bodele to take them to the roundabout at the ‘top of the hill’ near Gustafsberg.
Departures from the Gustafsberg roundabout with the smaller bus are at 10:15, 11:15, 12:15, 13:15, 14:15, 15:15, and 16:15. Buses from Bodele back to Uddevalla Södra Hamnen depart at 10:30, 11:30, 12:30, 13:30, 14:30, 15:30, and 16:30.
You can also walk or cycle to Gustafsberg via the Strandpromenaden. The Gustafsberg area is closed to car traffic for visitors on this day. Parking is available at Svenskholmen, Bodele, and Landbadet. Please note that the Junicupen event is taking place at Bodele at the same time, which means there will be more traffic than usual.

Good to know.

• Wheelchair users may be given priority in the queue if it is very hot.
• All passengers must disembark at the final stop; no round trips between Uddevalla and Uddevalla are permitted.
• Accessibility adaptations are available on board m/s Byfjorden. Maximum of 3 wheelchairs per trip.
• Dogs are allowed on board.
• Pushchairs are allowed if space permits; please avoid double strollers if possible. Space on board is already limited!
