On Midsummer Eve, the Uddevallaturen tour takes you on an atmospheric and relaxing journey along the Byfjord, all the way to the traditional Midsummer celebration at Gustafsberg, Sweden’s oldest seaside resort. A perfect combination of summer, community and Bohuslän at its most beautiful.
Midsummer at Gustafsberg
At Gustafsberg, a traditional Midsummer celebration awaits, suitable for the whole family. At 4:00 PM, there will be dancing and games, led by experienced musicians and dance leaders. The historic setting, the lush green park areas, and the proximity to the sea create an idyllic backdrop for one of the year’s most beloved holidays.
Bring a picnic blanket, tie a flower wreath and enjoy the scent of summer. For those who want, there is the opportunity to have coffee and ice cream in the area or a refreshing swim at the swimming area.

Gustafsberg
Sweden’s oldest seaside resort Beautiful park area lined with turn-of-the-century villas adorned with intricate carpentry. Konditori Snäckan is open every day of the week and offers pastries, homemade food, and ice cream, of course. Gustafsberg’s bath restaurant serves lunch and can be rented for weddings and parties.
Lindesnäs
It is one of the most visited bathing spots with its shallow beach and excellent crab fishing pier.
Skäret
Residential area with year-round and summer residences.
Ammenäs
Summer residental area with good swimming opportunities both from the beach and the pier that invites diving and jumping.
Unda
Camping & Resort with lovely sandy beaches and swimming jetties for refreshing dips in the sea. There is also mini golf, a disc golf course, and pétanque, as well as more than one playground for the little ones. The restaurant By the Lake serves dishes that most people will recognize, and the ice cream stand can be found down by the beach.

Residential area with year-round and summer residences.
Uddevalla
Get off right in the city center. Here you will find the promenade along the Byfjorden, green spaces for play and rest, and the Bohuslän Museum with activities for the whole family. Shopping, ice cream, cafes, restaurants and summer events give both children and adults a day full of experiences, all within easy walking distance of the quay.
