A journey with a cultural treasure
Step aboard M/S Gustafsberg II, the shipping company’s oldest vessel, carrying this archipelago boat on a rich heritage and an atmosphere of nostalgia that immediately captures your heart.
From Södra Hamnen in Uddevalla, we take you on a journey through calm waters, where time seems to slow down and every ripple of water is a reminder of the tranquility that once prevailed here. Our journey takes us to Ljungskile via Lyckorna, a place with a spa-resort heritage, where its turn-of-the-century villas are gently reflected in the sparkling water.
During the journey, we pass through Uddevalla’s safe, tranquil inner archipelago with its small, leafy islands, and pick up passengers at Hafstens Camping and Slussen on Orust.
Once you arrive, you have the opportunity to choose your own activity Explore the charming surroundings of Lyckorna with a walk up Flaggberget, take a stroll into Ljungskile center for shopping or book a table at the popular Musselbaren or one of the area’s other restaurants and literally taste Lyckorna.
No matter which path you choose, you will be surrounded by beauty and history at every step.
We’ll make a stop at
Unda
Camping & Resort with lovely sandy beaches and swimming jetties for refreshing dips in the sea. There is also mini golf, a disc golf course, and pétanque, as well as more than one playground for the little ones. The restaurant By the Lake serves dishes that most people will recognize, and the ice cream stand can be found down by the beach.
Hafsten
Welcome to one of Sweden’s most exciting leisure and conference facilities with Sweden’s most beautiful location! A unique combination of relaxation, adventure and activities, a place where the whole family can enjoy themselves.
At Restaurant Corallen, you can enjoy tasty dishes for all occasions. Here you can enjoy everything from a juicy burger to a luxurious beef fillet with beef from Gröna Gårdar. By the beach is Restaurant Strandkanten, the perfect place to enjoy freshly baked pizzas with a view of the sea and Havstensfjorden. For those who want to sunbathe and swim, an inviting sandy beach with a jumping jetty and the chance for classic crab fishing awaits. If you prefer swimming in the pool, there is a lovely pool area with food, drinks and glass service. The crystal clear water also stays at a pleasant 28 degrees, or more.
Slussen
The boat calls at this small, charming community on Orust for swimming or a stroll, a coffee break at the little harbor café Café Tillsammans, or you can book a table at Slussens Pensionat for lunch; it’s also possible to stay overnight there and take the boat back the next day.
Anfasteröd
Here you can enjoy a moment among pines and beech trees on a slope towards the sea and the Bohuslän inner archipelago. Rent a kayak, a SUP board, or an hour in the seaside sauna, then enjoy a go’ fika in the cozy restaurant Faster Anns at Anfasteröd Gårdsvik.
Lyckorna
For swimming or a restaurant visit There are some really great places to eat here, Musselbaren, which serves the ocean’s blue gold with heavenly flavors, and Lyckorna Brygga which offers both meat and fish on its lunch menu.
If you are already in Ljungskile and wish to take a short sea tour, you can do so from Lyckorna.

Ljungskile
In the small, charming town center there is a wide range of unique shops and cozy cafés.
In the heart of the town is Ljungskile Trikåfabrik, with a history dating back to 1935. They focus on sustainability, which may be why there are several second-hand shops to visit in the village, such as Lilla Fröt and Ljungskiles Garderob. There is also a lovely, leafy town park, Badhusparken, with a popular playground for children.

Guided tour
Join us for a guided tour at Klocktornet Destilleri in Lyckorna, Sweden’s smallest distillery.
The award-winning distillery is a craft distillery founded by friends with a passion for people, food, and fine spirits — all infused with a salty touch of Bohuslän.
During this 45-minute tour, you’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at the distillery, hear the story of how it was built, and see how award-winning spirits are handcrafted in the heart of Bohuslän. The tour costs SEK 100 per person.
After the tour, you’ll also have the opportunity to purchase a bottle directly from the distillery through our on-site sales program. Each adult visitor may purchase and take home one bottle.
Guided tours begin at 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM from the boat landing at Lyckorna.
